DON'T THROW OUT THOSE OLD HEARING AIDS!  

The Deaf Service Center collects used hearing aids for their Hearing Aid Bank (HAB) Program.  Some of the aids are reconditioned and some are sent to a recycling organization for credit.  The credit that accumulates is used to repair the aids that will be given to individuals who are on fixed incomes or those who are experiencing financial difficulty. Additionally, if you receive or qualify for Medicaid you may be eligible to receive a free hearing aid. Medicaid provides (1) hearing aid every 3 years.
